Hotel Villa Casa Blanca offers an elegant, tropical villa where you can relax and enjoy Paradise.  

Just a short walk to the protected beach of Playa Ocotal in the Gulf of Papagayo you can soak up the sun and beach then venture out from this relaxing, safe community of Ocotal. Volcanoes, wildlife,sailing, snorkeling -lots to choose from.  Of course, if you need to touch base with home you can use the FREE wireless Internet service.

When entering the hotel you walk through the beautiful gardens surrounded by lush tropical plants. There are two ranchos where you can sit and relax and watch the different species of birds and howler monkeys playing in the trees and say hello to the iguanas. At breakfast, overlooking the bay at Playa Ocotal, our parrots will entertain you with their songs and antics.  The pool and heated jacuzzi are just a short walk over the bridge where you can swim up to the bar for a cool drink.

Sailing is a great way to see our beautiful shore line going in and out of the many coves and beaches in our area. Hotel Villa Casa Blanca can arrange for a 1/2 day, full day or sunset sail. Occasionally, if you're lucky we can find a boat going out on a full moon sail.

Hotel Villa Casa Blanca not only has great rooms but we also have a variety of private villas here on Ocotal that are available for groups. Please call or email us to receive a list of what is available. Below is just an example of the types of group accomodations on this beautiful beach. Each room of this beautiful 6 bedroom Villa overlooks the ocean at Playa Ocotal, one of Guanacaste's best kept secrets. This is a wonderful place for group stays.   This is NOT an all inclusive villa so it is more affordable for groups of 14 or less.  However, we can staff it with a cook for an additional charge.

Spend your vacation looking at this from your living room.  Three bedroom private villa overlooking Pez Vela Bay just south of Playa Ocotal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, about 30 minutes from Liberia airport.  Sleeps 6. Fully equipped - TV, air, full kitchen.  There are several pools throughout the project and a full service restaurant open 7 days per week.  If beach time is what you are looking for, this villa is located on a gorgeous private beach.  As the picture shows, there is a private deck for the use of the guests of this villa. Cancellation Policy:  No refund if canceled 30 days or less prior to check in.  If canceled 31 to 60 days prior to check-in, there will be a 25% cancellation fee.  If canceled more than 60 days in advance, deposit will be fully refunded.

Wally Timeout

What do you do with a precocious out of control parrot?  You put her in "time-out", of course.  For Wally this means we have to put her on the gutter of the rancho where breakfast is prepared for the guests of Hotel Villa Casa Blanca.  The metal is thin and she has to hold tight.  It gives her a chance to calm down and get over things.  What usually gets her sent to time-out is when she becomes overly obsessed with the object of her "amor" namely some man on the veranda.  She absolutely loves men and doesn't care for women.   If she feels thwarted, she will get demanding.  She even chases Modesta (the owner) across the veranda to keep her away from whatever man she has picked out.  It is quite a show.  Come visit Wally.
